Samsun, one of the few cities in our country with land, sea, air and rail transportation, is the Anatolia's gateway to the world through the Black Sea Region with its alternative transportation infrastructures.

 

Samsun, is one of the determinant cities of Turkey with a strategic position that combines four transportation infrastructure types, historical knowledge, agricultural and industrial potential, proximity to international relations network, location on the energy corridors, richness of human resources, trained intermediate staff and services of health, tourism sectors and all other fields.

 

Samsun aims to be a centre of a logistics, transfer, manufacturing and export-import in the connection of the Black Sea coastal countries with Turkey. In line with this goal, Samsun established the logistics sector platform and the Logistics Master Plan of TR83 in which Samsun is also located has been prepared. In this sense, sector strategies of the province have been formed and first stage of the infrastructure works has been completed.

 

Samsun Logistics Center, Turkey's biggest major EU-funded project,  is an important project for Samsun in terms of regional competitiveness. With its 80.000 m2 total warehouse capacity, Logistics Center provides companies logistics warehouses with sizes of 2.500 m2, 5.000 m2 and 9.000 m2. With additional investments, the warehouse area is planned to increase up to 450,000 square meters.

 

Samsun Logistic Center is located near Tekkeköy District, about 15 km east of the city centre. Samsun Logistic Village is 20 km from Samsun Port, 2.5 km from Yeşilyurt and Toros Ports, and 10 km from Çarşamba Airport. The Samsun-Ordu highway, the main transport corridor in the Black Sea region, passes 1.8 km north of the Samsun Logistics Centre. The railway line connecting Anatolia to the Black Sea is also connected to the Samsun Logistics Centre.

 

Samsun Logistics Center, which is operational since 2018, is providing significant contributions to the economic and social development of Samsun city, Black Sea region and our country. Samsun has a high potential for new investments in the logistics sector.
